ヒガシくんの物語 The story of Higashikun (a kitten)

　

It is a story of Higashikun who gave a deep affection for his younger siblings in a short life less than a year.
 
The Story of Higashikun

It goes back two years ago.

There was a cobby type longhair cat called Gohkun who governs the area in Duee.
He brought stability to the region.
There was also a female cat called Siamie who would be the big mother of the biggest family in Duee .

Mother Siamie brought her kitten Higashikun (about two months old) to this area "Duee" to introduce to us.

When a kitty Higashikun grew up around 8 months of age the mother Siamie left this area for the preparation of new children's birth.
The kitten who was left alone was solitariness but a tabby cat Aichan and his love looked after him and Gohkun watched over them.

One day,  mother Siamie came home with three newborn babies.
An elder kitty Higashikkun was delighted with his mother returning and his dedicated child-rearing assistance began from that day.
The elder, even though he himself was  kitten, worked hard and helped the mother for his siblings.

A little later the siblings were decided to be put out to nurse.
The first baby kitten was taken away. The family seemed a little sad after that.

A few days later the second baby was taken. It is a brawn tabby kitten called Fuku.
The baby kitten once went to the foster parents, but he came back again because he did not eat any meals.
What a happy family was when the baby Fuku reterned home.
It was that evening, Cat’s family tried to escape.

I looked for cat’s family with concern and found them around the backside of the Duee.

Call to me first a baby “Fuku” who was especially attached to me,
I used it as a decoy and urged the family returns.
The cat’s family did not let down their guard, but they reluctantly came back because the baby "Fuku" came back and forth between the family and me.

A few days after an exodus, a white cat baby was put out to a foster parent.
Baby "Fuku" meanwhile would stay with an elder brother.

Several months later, Siamie left two children to prepare for a new birth.
After Siamie had left, Higasikun was healthy looking after his young brothers.

One morning there was a story about a neighbor who said the kitten was crying all night and I realized that Higashikun was gone.

This video is a record of him and his family for several months until Higashikun goes to long home.

ヒガシくんの物語。

デュエにはゴウくんという地域を統治するコビータイプの長毛種がいました。
彼はこの地域に安定をもたらしていました。
またそこには後にこの地域の一大家族となる大母シャーミーという雌猫がいて最初の子どもの名がヒガシくんといいます。

母親シャーミーは月齢二ヶ月ほどの子猫ヒガシくんを我々に紹介するためにこのデュエに連れて来ました。
やがてヒガシくんが月齢八ヶ月くらいになったときに母親シャーミーは新たな出産準備のためにこの地域を後にします。
残された子猫ヒガシくんは孤独でしたがアイちゃんというキジ猫とその恋人が彼の面倒をみることになり名主ゴウくんは彼らを見守りました。

そんなある日のこと、母親シャーミーが三匹の新しく生まれた子供を連れて帰ります。
ヒガシくんはお母さんが帰って来て大喜びですがその日から彼の献身的な子育て支援が始まりました。
自身が子猫であることも忘れ一所懸命弟妹たちに尽くしお母さんの子育てのお手伝いをしました。

子猫たちは里子に出されることが決まっていました。
一匹目の子猫が里子に出されると家族は少し寂しそうでした。
数日して二匹目の子猫が連れていかれることになりました。ふくという名のキジの子猫です。
子猫は里親のもとにいったん連れて行かれますが食事を一切口にしないということで戻って来ました。
一度いなくなった子供が帰って来たときの家族のなんとよろこんだこと。
その日の夕方のことでした。猫たち家族は逃走を敢行したのです。
私は心配で猫たちをさがしまわりデュエの裏側で彼らを見つけました。
なついているふくをまず呼び、ふくを囮に家族みんなに帰ってくるように促しました。
彼らは警戒を解くことはありませんでしたが私とその家族の間をふくがなんども行き来したため最後はしぶしぶ帰ってきました。

それから数日してこんどは白の子猫が里子に出されます。ふくはヒガシくんと残ることになりました。
それから数ヶ月が経ち、シャーミーが子供二人を後に　また新たな出産の準備にこの地を離れました。

シャーミーがさったあとは健気にもヒガシくんが弟ふくの面倒をみてました。そんなある朝、子猫が夜通し泣いていたという近所の人のお話がありヒガシくんがいなくなったことがわかりました。

この動画はヒガシくんがなくなるまでの数ヶ月間の彼とその家族の記録です。
